Linda Anne Smith’s third novel, Unknown Unseen – Under the Radar, is an absorbing and poignant story of anguished teens. Oppressed by concealed family dysfunction and shrouded by an impersonal education system, their vulnerability is discernible only to very few friends – and cunning predators. The power of empathy, loyalty and perseverance in the face of indifference, irresponsibility and evil provides rare insight into the character and complex lives of today’s teens. Parents and teachers would do well to read Smith’s informative tale.

Oh my gosh, I couldn't put it down!! It resonates on so many levels. Linda is such a wonderful storyteller, she painted the characters so well, I am fully invested, I just want to know more! What these kids have gone through, it's so unfathomable. Yet, Linda made it so clear that these things do happen.. here, now! A glimpse into how hard kids try to do the right thing, barrier after barrier and the little connections that keep them going.. and then the impact covid has had, it's blown everything up.. Linda has provided insight into the kids just getting by, this is so impactful and she's delivered it so effectively! I can just imagine them in a year, in ten, I hope they can stay connected! This book definitely left me wanting to know what will happen next!!
